tell a plot, add a shot

OBJECTIVE: stimulate creativity.

DIFICULTY: easy.

SUGGESTED KIT: all modules.

ACTIVITY:
It's about creating histories using the modules to instate the plot in the fashion “a tale never loses in the telling”. This activity requires 3 or more kids to work.

This activity is composed of three parts:
  1.  the history pieces
  2. raffle
  3. the complete history

PART 1: The history pieces.
Each kid must assemble a sequence of modules and create a small part of the history At this point, kids shouldn't tell their history to no one yet.
Action examples:
  • energy module + button module + motor module: it's an plane propeller and it's headed to the beach.
  • energy module + light sensor module + LED module: when it got dark, something shone deep in the woods.

PART 2: raffle.
Someone must write down the name of each kid ink a piece of paper, fold it and place it on a box.

PART 3: the complete history.
Someone gets a paper in the box. The selected kid must start the history telling his/hers part.
Then, this kid picks another name from the box. The next kid must join his/her part of the history in a way it makes sense.
This way, in the fashion “a tale never loses in the telling”, the final history will be the joining of each one's history.
Document everything (test, take pictures, film it) and send us so we can publish it on the website :D
